My roots run deep in the Pierson area, my grandfather use to own and operate the ice house way back in the day. My father grew up in Pierson and went on to serve our country for 30 years and retired a lieutenant colonel . Along the way and over time he started a small fern business with his fathers help. I was introduced to a rototiller at 10 years old and that’s when I found my passion. I worked my way through high school and college on the family farm. Upon graduating from Stetson university I worked full time until I got the opportunity to buy the business. I became the owner of Hopkins Quality Foliage on January 1st, 1998. We have been providing quality greens to the floral industry ever since.
